Q: What should I expect during my first Treatment?
A: I will require you to fill out a Client Consultation Form. This gives me a general picture of your lifestyle, health problems and expectations of the treatment. Afterwards I will begin by asking you general questions to establish what areas you would like worked on, if there are any conditions needing to be addressed and to determine if the treatment is appropriate for you.

Q: Where do I have the treatment?
A: Your treatment session should take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music can be played to help you relax. I will bring a couch or massage chair, dependant on your treatment, especially designed for your comfort.

Q: What do I wear for the treatment?
A: Depending on the treatment you have chosen, you may or may not need to undress. For a full body massage, you will undress except for your briefs. For a back massage, only the upper clothing needs to be removed. I will give you privacy to undress, and you will be covered with a towel or blanket at all times except for the area being worked on. For Indian Head massage, a towelling wrap will be provided. For reflexology, you only need remove your socks and shoes.

Q: What do I do during a treatment?
A: The aim of all treatments is relaxation therefore making yourself comfortable is paramount. If I need you to adjust your position, I will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed. Otherwise, change your position anytime to make yourself more comfortable. Many people close their eyes and relax completely during a session; others prefer to talk. It's up to you. It is your treatment, and whatever feels natural to you is the best way to relax. Do not hesitate to ask questions at any time.

Q: Must men have referral's?
A: All new male clients should be referred to me by an existing client, friend, family or Health Professional. If this is not possible, then please give me your postal address so that I can send you my consultation form for you to fill in. I follow strict professional and ethical standards and believe that genuine therapists, like myself, have the right to do their job in a safe environment.

Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?
A: 24-hour's notice would be appreciated. Otherwise, I may have to charge you for the treatment booked. Sometimes this cannot be helped - family emergencies, work, sickness, traffic etc, so please contact me as soon as possible so that we can re-schedule your appointment.

Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: I regret that I can accept only cash and cheques, the latter of which, for first-time client's, I would prefer it to be accompanied by a valid cheque guarantee card.

Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?
A: Yes - these make great presents or allow you to purchase a course of treatments upfront. Please contact me for further details.
